Men's Ministry

STF's Men's Ministry provides opportunities for men to grow in their personal relationship with God, living faithfully for Christ in their community, workplace, and family. We invite you to participate in a Men's Ministry sponsored event, join a discipleship group, become involved in a mission project, or take part in a Growing Fathers event. Special events include a yearly men’s retreat, special speakers at men’s gatherings, and men’s breakfasts.

Men's Lunch
This lunchtime event provides men the time to fellowship with one another while enjoying a home cooked lunch and a special guest speaker. Every man is welcome.

Growing Fathers
Growing Fathers is a ministry in development in response to the tremendous need to strengthen men’s roles as fathers to their sons and daughters. Events will be planned for fathers and their children and teens. These events may include special seminars, outdoor activities, and retreats.

Men's 2009 Softball
Men's Softball provides a chance to connect with other men while excercizing and having fun on the field. Softball Season runs from early March through mid-May with no games played on Good Friday, and concludes with tournament. Games are played Friday night at Gadsden Park, and the cost for participation is $25.

Women's Ministry

The Women's ministry is focused on encouraging and equipping women to grow in their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ through Bible study, prayer, evangelism, and fellowship. For more information concerning Women's ministries, contact us.

Bible Studies
Bible studies are offered for women in both the fall and spring. Usually there are oppurtunites to paticipate on different days in the morning or the evening. Bible studies offer a way to connect with other women, delve into biblical studies, and encourage one another.

Married Adults Ministry

STF's Married Adults' Ministry is designed to minister to married couples of all ages and stages of their married life. This ministry is a place where we begin to understand the mystery of “The two shall become one flesh.” One of the most difficult things to learn in marriage is how to grow together spiritually. Together we share life experiences, study God’s design for marriage, and grow spiritually both individually and as a couple. What's a better place to go for step-by-step instruction on how to have a healthy Godly relationship than the Bible?

Senior Adults Ministry

STF's Senior Adults' Ministry is geared toward adults over 55 years. STF strives to provide an environment where our seniors share their knowledge and experience to help our younger members come to know Christ. STF encourages seniors of all ages to be part of a fellowship experience.

Sunday Morning Bible Studies
Bible studies equip seniors for the challenges of daily life and allow time for prayer and fellowship in a peer group setting. It’s another opportunity to share life together here at STF.

Outreach
Outreach missions provide various activities for seniors and non-seniors to reach out to senior adults in the community. Several of the activities include:

- Visiting a senior in a nursing home
- Visiting a senior in a hospital
- Praying for a Senior
- Ministering to a homebound senior
- Helping transport a senior
- Running errands for a senior
- Delivering medicine to a senior
- Providing a meal to a senior
- Encouraging a Senior
