C-Hope

What is C-Hope:  A means by which, we as the Christian community can fill the gap between what the medical community has to offer and what a Christian perspective can bring to what can be a devastating disease by equipping patients/families/caregivers with the tools that can provide confidence and trust in Christ and the power of His WORD. C-Hope will come along side our partners with fellowship, encouragement, the power of intercessory prayer and most importantly HOPE. We are not a support group or counseling service.

The ministry is based on Galatians 6:2: Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ (New King James).

C-Hope has two methods of offering support.

(1) The C-Hope backpack is an ideal way to prepare for surgeries, doctor’s appointments or chemotherapy treatments.  The backpack includes a fleece, devotional materials, medical book, inspirational book for patients/families/caregivers, and a scripture card case that can fit in your pocket plus a C-Hope First Aid Booklet. This is an ideal gift for a cancer patient.  The contents will offer hope, comfort and encouragement as the person proceeds with their necessary treatment. Bible Study Classes, Small Groups, friends or families may order a back pack.  An order form is attached .

 (2) Prayer support.  Patients/families/caregivers have two options for prayer assistance.

Option #1:  Specific prayer request can be emailed to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and these will be given to the Cancer Prayer Team.  These requests will remain confidential.  Updates should also be emailed.  When you want your prayer request removed just notify C-Hope through an email. If the patient/family/caregiver does not have email you can call South Tampa Fellowship at 813-251-1515 and the appropriate persons will be notified of your request.

Option #2: A personal prayer partner can be requested.  This partner will be in touch with you on a regular basis. When the prayer partner calls the patient/family/caregiver can notify the prayer partner of any up coming doctor visits, surgeries, testing or treatments that need prayer coverage or any other concerns that they might have that would require prayer assistance. All requests will remain confidential. Email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for your personal prayer partner or call South Tampa Fellowship at 813-251-1515 to leave your information and someone from the Prayer Team will contact you as soon as possible.
