Membership 101 & 102

Membership 101 & 102 are required classes for all prospective members. Topics of discussion include Salvation, Baptism, Lord's Supper, our History, our Mission Statement, Beliefs, Staff and Structure. Classes are offered every seven weeks and meet two consecutive Sundays. In addition to the adult membership classes, there is a special membership class for High School and Middle School Students as well as a special class for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade children. These classes include many of the same topics that are discussed in the adult membership classes with an emphasis on the different aspects of the Student Ministry or the Children's Ministry.

The Bible teaches that God is relational. He desires a growing relationship with everyone. However, we are born separated from God because of sin. God's desire for a relationship with us is so great that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross as a payment for our sin. Anyone who accepts, by faith, that Jesus Christ has died on their behalf and believes that His life alone has bridged the gap between them and God, has an eternal relationship with God the Father.

Membership Qualifications

There are four prerequisites to joining our church. First and most important, that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Second, that you have been baptized since becoming a believer. Third, that you complete or are in the process of completing all Membership class requirements. And fourth, that each candidate be willing to sign in support of the following statement: As a member, I agree to support this ministry with my time, talents, and treasure and to be accountable to the church leadership in matters concerning my relationship to God and to others.
