Senior Staff

Born and raised in South Tampa Tyler was originally a member of Davis Islands Community Church. Over the past 32 years Tyler has attended and served in the STF family of churches . Tyler has overseen many departments at STF and now directs the Technical Arts department. Tyler’s family, wife Ida Marie, son Thomas, daughter Hailey, father and mother and sister Heather’s family all attended and serve at STF. Tyler officially joined the staff full time in 1995.

Karen Levine, Children’s Ministry director: Karen was born and raised in Michigan, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Michigan State University. She  moved to Florida in 1992.  It was in the Sunshine State that she came to understand her need for Jesus, and her life has never been the same! Karen taught elementary school for nine years. She and her husband, Michael, have two children, Jacob and Julia. Karen can be described as a bookworm, beachcomber, and avid knitter.
