Worship plays a key role at STF. More than music alone, worship is an expression of our hearts to God. Our Worship Services provide an opportunity to participate in praise and worship to God through music in two different setting. With many musical tastes represented within our congregation, the style of our worship music in both worship centers is blended but weighted toward contemporary music. On any given Sunday, we may express our worship to God through hymns, traditional anthems, gospel-style songs and contemporary music.

Wednesday 7:55 PM Rehearsal, Ballast Point Camups
Worship Choir provides rehearsed Choral Praise music in Sunday Worship Services at 9:00 and 10:30 AM. The choir also supports congregational Praise & Worship singing during those services. Auditions and church membership are not required to join the Worship Choir. The ability to read music is also not necessary. Visitors can simply attend and sing in a series of regular rehearsals to explore their interest in becoming choir members. Rehearsals are held year-round on Wednesday evenings from 7:55 – 9:15 PM.
Worship Orchestra and Band
Thursday 6:30 PM Rehearsal, Ballast Point Camups
Worship Orchestra is open to all church instrumentalists including woodwind, brass, percussion and string players. The instrumentalists occasionally accompany Praise & Worship singing and Choral Praise music in Sunday Worship Services. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 6:30 – 7:30 PM.
Praise Team
Praise Teams are small instrumental and vocal ensemble groups that support weekly congregational Praise & Worship in Sunday and Wednesday Worship Services. We maintain multiple teams with interchangeable members to support simultaneous Worship Services on Sunday mornings. These singers and instrumentalists are selected from members of the Worship Choir, the Worship Orchestra and the WORD Student Choir.
